The inspiration for my painting usually begins with colour and pattern; these are the main focus for my compositions.Each painting has been created and constructed in such a way as to make them original and unique.
I aim to portray excitement, produce a spontaneous reaction: this could stem from light, a colour combination, a dramatic shape or the relationship of each of them to each other.
I love to paint gardens and flowers I have a constant source of inspiration from the gardens of the National Trust, my own and other people's gardens.
I enjoy the actual process of creating a painting as much as the end results. I like to experiment with different media and techniques.
I hope that by constantly learning and expanding my horizons my art always stays spontaneous fresh and exciting.
